SLAM Boss
Chelsea Weber | chelsea@sweatlikeamother.com
Hi there! I’m Chelsea Weber, the SLAM BOSS for SLAM Fort Leonard Wood. I am CPR/AED certified, a certified group fitness instructor through ACE, and hold an RRCA run coach certification. I am a mother of three beautiful babies and a military wife of 10 years! My SLAM journey began in the beautiful panhandle of Florida with SLAM PCB, where I became certified and started coaching. I had never experienced friendships as strong as the ones I found in SLAM, and I was determined to recreate that sense of community when we received orders to Fort Leonard Wood.
Knowing there was a SLAM group here was such a relief; I knew I would quickly find my tribe! A week after moving, I joined SLAM FLW, and the following week, I began coaching here. A few months later, the opportunity arose for me to take over, and I jumped on it! I love leading these strong and capable ladies here at Fort Leonard Wood, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

The Fort Leonard Wood Team
Hailey Clinton | Instructor
My name is Hailey Clinton. I’ve been a fitness instructor for over two years. I fell in love with fitness over ten years ago when I injured my back and needed to strengthen the muscles in my back. Through this journey, I gradually developed a passion for working out. I started my SLAM journey in Fairbanks, AK, in 2020. When I found out we were moving to Fort Leonard Wood, I immediately looked to see if there was a SLAM group there. When I discovered there wasn’t one, I decided to jump in and start one!
I love watching women come together and create friendships through SLAM. I especially appreciate the aspect of being able to bring your children with you, allowing them to see you become strong not just for yourself but also for them!
I have been married to my husband, Cody, for ten years, and we have three boys and one girl. We have been stationed at White Sands, NM, Fort Carson, CO, Fairbanks, AK, and now Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

I absolutely love the community around SLAM! Through this workout group, I’ve met some incredible and strong women who have made my experience in Fort Leonard Wood so much better. I’m so thankful to SLAM for these friendships. My 18-month-old also gets to play and learn from the other kids in SLAM, which is fantastic. Working out has always been therapeutic for me, and on this motherhood journey, SLAM has helped me navigate and talk through various motherhood challenges.
SLAM FLW has been a lifesaver for me. I’m in my mid-40’s and I have a five-year-old son. Prior to joining SLAM, I hadn’t worked out in years. I had significant bilateral hip pain for 10 months. I couldn’t keep up with my son. After doing SLAM for one month, my hip pain was gone! Several months in, I am losing fat and gaining muscle. I am stronger and I have so much more energy to keep up with my son. Plus, he gets to play with his SLAM friends and I don’t have to find childcare. It’s a win-win!
S.L.A.M. is just the perfect opportunity to meet other moms, stay fit during pregnancy or get back into shape after having a baby. I love that it welcomes anyone though, whether you are a mom or not. Especially being in the military and being relocated regularly, it can be so hard to find a community – so it is a blessing that SLAM is exactly that – a community of supporting women – more than just a workout group. The pricing is reasonable for what you get, the coaches are amazing and I love that it will be offered on many military locations. Hopefully I will get to join at our next duty station, too!
