Kara is a AFFA Certified fitness instructor and is certified in CPR and First Aid. She has lived in Colorado since 2000 but just happened to find another S.L.A.M. in Tennessee while visiting a friend in early 2020. She was instantly drawn to the idea of her kids being a part of her workouts, and fell in love with the community of moms in all stages of motherhood. In December of 2021, she found her place with S.L.A.M. Colorado Springs while just a few weeks pregnant with her youngest and her only regret is not coming sooner! Kara loves leg day and heavies but she’s always ready for a laugh, good music and some burpees!
